Maputo International fair opens in Marracuene
17 countries are participating in Maputo’s international trade fair, which began on Monday 29 August. This 47th edition is being held outside Maputo for the first time, in Marracuene about 30 kms north of the city.
The fair has attracted over 1,000 companies from Mozambique and 60 from abroad, slightly more than the number that participated last year.
Companies from Angola, Argentina, Botswana, Brazil, China, Denmark, Italy, Kenya, Malawi, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand and Zambia are attending the week-long event.
