Festivals & Filmsfrom 27.09 to 09.10.2010Sculpture and Painting Exhibition at CCFM
27 September-9 October 2010. This exhibition entitled Ordinary Materials for Extraordinary Lives features the sculptures by the Mozambican artist Gonçalo Mabunda, as well as paintings and collages by the Serbian artist Branislava Stojanovic. Mabunda, who grew during the country’s civil war civil war, makes sculptures out of objects with strong political connotations, such as decommissioned guns. Mabunda has displayed his sculptures in the US, England, Sweden, France, Japan and South Africa. Stojanovic has graduated in 2007 at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome, Department of Stage and Film design and Costume and has displayed her works primarily in Italy.
